Audiel Moreno returns to our Producer Series with a new lot from Santa Barbara, Honduras. Part of the renowned Moreno family, who have helped shape specialty coffee in the region since 1963, Audiel represents the next generation of producers: thoughtful, precise and deeply committed to quality.

This lot is 100% Pacas, a natural Bourbon mutation known for its sweetness, soft structure and expressive acidity. While delicate to grow, Pacas can produce beautiful cup clarity when farmed with care. Cherries are selectively handpicked and transported by mule to his mother Juana’s wet mill. After depulping, the coffee undergoes a 14–16 hour dry fermentation before being fully washed, sorted and dried slowly on raised beds and in a solar dryer.

Audiel began farming at just 12 years old and inherited his first plot at 16. Today, he continues to build on his family’s legacy with quiet determination and pride. In the cup, expect a rich and comforting profile, with notes of honey and green apple.
